Fees Flat fees: Some services are based on a flat fee. Flat fees are collected at the time the client wishes service be rendered. Examples of flat-fee type cases would be many criminal charges, including but not limited to serious criminal charges, DWI/DUI, traffic matters. Non-contested divorces and DWI Expungements may also be done on a flat fee basis.
Contingency fees: Some fees are contingent on outcome. Contingency fees come only if we achieve a settlement or judgment. In those cases, our fee would be paid by a percentage of the total settlement or judgment. Examples of this would be Personal Injury and workers compensation cases.
Hourly fees: If the nature of the case is complex or ongoing, a retainer fee will be charged up-front, and then later fees would be charged at an hourly rate. An example of this might be an appeal or an unusual request for resolving a range of atypical but not uncommon issues.
